How do I get paid?

Payment for the event will be transferred from the host’s credit card directly into your nominated account 48 hours after the conclusion of the event. This transfer generally takes 2 business days to complete.

We use pre-authorisation with every bank which is registered with Stripe. This means that the Host’s card will have the amount ‘held’ on their card three days prior to the event. So, we can guarantee that payment will occur for your services. 

All of our payments are managed through Stripe, one of the world’s largest online payment platforms. They work closely with all Australian banks to make sure your details are kept safe and secure.

You can input your payment details when you make your profile, or once you’ve confirmed your first booking. For your security, Six8 does not store any of your card information.

When entering your payment information, you can also declare if you are registered for GST, and if so if you have an ABN. We do not provide advice on whether you require GST registration, beyond providing a link to the ATO website.
